I am a board certified chiropractic physician and have been in private practice since 2009. I currently serve as a clinical instructor in family medicine for the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and also am recognized as a Back Pain Specialist through the National Committee for Quality Assurance.  I am a member of the American Chiropractic Association, and the New York State Chiropractic Association.  I have been invited to lecture to students at the New York State Chiropractic College on evidence- based care upon numerous occasions.

My clinical experience involves the conservative treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Common conditions treated at my office include but are not limited to; pregnancy related back/leg pain, sciatica, disc herniation, radiculopathy, low back pain, headache, neck pain, whiplash, and musculoskeletal extremity conditions.

I have advanced training in spine care and understand the multi-factorial nature of musculoskeletal conditions to include physiological, emotional, and nutritional components.  My approach to care includes conservative spinal manipulation, soft tissue techniques, kinesiotaping techniques, electrical muscle stimulation, therapeutic home exercises and nutrition coaching to include an emphasis on plant-based whole foods nutrition.

As a provider, I participate on the following health plans; Excellus BC/BS, Aetna, United Healthcare, Multi-plan, and Empire. Chiropractic care is covered under most plans.  My approach is symptom based, evidence based and patient centered.

My time at home is spent with my husband and 2 little boys ages 2 and 3.  The three of them are the light in my life and remind me everyday how lucky I am to have such a beautiful family surrounding me.  We enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, biking and running….. lately the boys have been running a whole lot more than us!  I grew up in Pittsford and am a graduate of Sutherland high school.  I am enjoying seeing my boys experience life in Rochester as I did as a kid feeding ducks on the canal, checking out the new fishes at the hatchery, and exploring every playground in a 5 mile radius.  Life is good!
